Mayonaisse

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 T dijon mustard
  • 1 T lemon juice, or juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 c. neutral oil (canola, vegetable oil, etc)

Combine all but oil in blender.  Start blender on highest setting, and slowly pour a thin stream of oil in while it's blending until incorporated.  Refrigerate or serve immediately.
