Honey Dijon South Carolina BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 c. yellow mustard
- 1/4 c. stone ground mustard
- 1/4 c. dijon mustard
- 1/3 c. honey (dark honey if you have it--I've used buckwheat honey successfully)
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. white vinegar or apple cider vinegar (or a mix)
- ground pepper to taste
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- zest of 1 lemon
Simmer ingredients together for 5 minutes, allow to cool, serve over pulled pork or other BBQ.
