Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple

  • 1 pineapple
  • 1 stick (8 oz) melted unsalted butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. grated lime zest
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 c. dark rum for flambéing (optional)

Preheat grill to hi.

Cut pineapple into 8–10 rounds, cored.

Place butter in one bowl and sugar, cinnamon, lime zest, and cloves (mixed) in another.

Dredge rounds in butter and then sugar mix. Grill 5–8 minutes per side, until browned.

Flambé if desired, and serve.
