Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon regular salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 t. kosher salt

Preheat oven to 375F.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.  Beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla in large bowl until smooth.  Beat in eggs one at a time.  Gradually beat in flour mixture, then fold in chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Sprinkle with kosher salt and bake 9-11 minutes.  Remove from oven and allow to cool 2 minutes before transferring to cooling rack to finish cooling.
