Portable Work Bench

Extend to stop pieces from moving during planing:

Retract for overhang work:

Bench dogs prevent boards from sliding:

Dog holes can also be used with inline clamps (for lateral holding) and holdfasts (for holding down work pieces to the surface).

Whack a holdfast on the top and it locks into place, whack it on the side and it releases.
